Brand Your Corporation to Stand Out

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting an interactive branding workshop led by Ian Lai, a Brand Storyteller from BrandtalksAsia, who flew in from Kuala Lumpur. In his engaging 2-hour session, titled “Brand Your Corporation to Stand Out,” Ian shared valuable insights on the essentials of effective branding.

He kicked off with a story about his encounter with Bonia, a fashion brand with Italian influences rooted in Malaysia. Highlighting Malaysia’s wealth of resources, talent, and products, Ian emphasized the need for sharper branding and marketing to propel local brands onto the global stage.

Throughout the workshop, Ian kept the audience involved with small tasks and open discussions. Reflecting on the event, Ian shared, “What I really appreciated from the crowd was their commitment to participate and learn. It made my job as a trainer so much easier.”

The workshop focused on three main components: “Activate Your No.1 Asset,” “The Power of Positioning,” and “Craft Your BrandBlueprint in 5 Steps.” These elements offered participants practical tools to develop a brand from the ground up. Ian left everyone with an inspiring message: “Don’t strive to be the best, be the ONLY ONE,” underscoring that true differentiation comes from the unique experiences a brand creates.
